Job Description
The Works is seeking a Facility Attendant to join our Team in Indianapolis.
As an Attendant, you’ll help keep our club spotless, organized, and running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order throughout the facility — from saunas and showers to locker rooms and lounges — ensuring every guest feels comfortable, cared for, and welcomed.
This hands-on role is essential to the guest experience and plays a key part in creating the safe, clean, and inviting environment The Works is known for.
Reports to: Shift Supervisor or On-Duty Manager
Basic Requirements:
18 years or older
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable working in an adult-oriented, LGBTQ-friendly environment
Able to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
Willing to assist with cleaning, stocking, and upkeep
Capable of being on your feet for extended periods
Strong communication and customer service skills
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
Regularly walk through all areas of The Works — including saunas, showers, locker rooms, play zones, and lounges — to ensure everything is clean, stocked, and guest-ready.
Restock towels and linens throughout the facility.
Collect used towels and laundry; transport them to and from the laundry area.
Maintain all cleaning supplies and linen closets — keeping them organized, stocked, and labeled.
Mop, sweep, vacuum, dust, and sanitize as needed to maintain a “like-new” appearance across all spaces.
Remove trash and recycling from designated areas and replace liners as needed.
Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to management.
Desired Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in hospitality, janitorial, or facility attendant roles preferred.
Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping spaces clean and organized.
Must be reliable, punctual, and professional — our Crew counts on each other.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Adult CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
Comfortable in an LGBTQ+ friendly environment.
Bonus Points:
Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
Experience with cash handling or front desk work.
A calm, friendly presence under pressure.
